Commonly known as S. x stevensii, this is a colourful hybrid of unknown parentage that retains its foliage all-year-round rather than the pitchers dying off at the end of the summer as some do. Nevertheless, it still needs a cold dormant period.

Awarded the R.H.S. A.G.M. (Award of Garden Merit), the pitchers inherit a significant amount of characteristics and colour from S. leucophylla which clearly features in the lineage. The pitchers feature green and pink veining along with white colouration and over time in good strong light the pink can dominate the whole of the upper pitcher. This hybrid also tends to produce many more pitchers than S. leucophylla, continuing to do so throught the growing season. The red flowers are formed on disproportionately long stems and also resemble those of the aforementioned but aren't particularly impressive or showy.

A good starter plant which will clump up relatively quickly as Sarracenia go.
